In living system,structural transitions areemerged through molecular conversions as wellas molecular interactions.To understand such acomplicated hierarchy,the autonomous artificialsystem has been constructed using micrometersizedgiant vesicles (GVs).For example,uniquedynamics of GVs,such as division and growth,are emerged by the Cu-catalyzed azide-alkynecycloaddition reaction (CuAAc).1,2 Here,toinduce the phase transition of molecular selfassemblies,the single-tailed cationic azidecompound (AZ) was designed and synthesized.Itwould be expected that the structural transition is emerged by the reaction of 1-decyne (AL)and AZ to produce the double-tailed lipids having a triazole group (TA) (Figure 1).
