Aptamer are nucleic acids which can bind to target molecules specifically and oneof the RNA aptamers,Spinach aptamer has a unique feature that it can emitfluorescence by binding to DFHBI,GFP fluorophore-like ligands [1].This Spinachaptamer and other fluorescence aptamer which can bind to this ligand and emitfluorescence has consensus G-quadruplex (G4) forming sequence.This fluorescenceaptamer has been utilized for various target imaging in the cell by transcription of thisRNA aptamer,however,the fluorescence intensity of this aptamer is much weaker thangreen fluorescence protein [2].
