Thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) materials are attracting attentionbecause of the expectation of realizing highly efficient organic light-emitting diodes,butmechanistic details of the process remain elusive.Because optoelectronic applications ofmolecular systems are strongly associated with its geometrical conformation,1 it is essentialto understand and control the effect of structural restriction on electronic properties.Herewe investigated modification of optoelectronic properties including TADF from thestructural restriction,using ultrafast spectroscopy and quantum chemical calculations.
