Inorganic Soundproof Fiberglass Composites for Protection against Acoustic Effects

The paper presents the features of production of acoustic porous fiberglass composites: developed temperature-time modes for foam-forming mixtures, compositions of complex foaming agents for soundproof material technology, technological methods to control the porous structure of fiberglass composites that affect their main operational parameters - sound absorption and sound insulation. Inorganic soundproof fiberglass composites used in construction create a comfortable environment in residential and public buildings and protect from acoustic effects in areas with high noise levels. Due to the increased strength characteristics, the developed soundproof fiberglass composites can be used for construction of both self-supporting acoustic protective screens and for cladding of the existing supporting structures since the density of these materials does not exceed 300 kg/m~3. The developed technology enables adjustment of the material pore structure and production of fiberglass composites with required physico-technical and operational parameters, and a completely inorganic composition ensures environmental friendliness and safety due to the lack of emission of harmful substances.
