Magnetically guided liposomes (158±32 nm diameter) loaded with cytostatic drug rubomycin were produced using optimized procedure of hydration of thin phospholipid film. Magnetite nanoparticles (7.3±1.2 nm diameter) serving as the magnetic phase of the liposomes were produced using the polyol method. The liposomes were stable, with a shelf life of several weeks.
