The article presents an interpretation of the relationship between the value structure of mass Patriotic consciousness and social conditions of life. Living in an urban space changes the traditional Russian-speaking culture component of mass patriotic consciousness. On the basis of the analysis, the recommended directions for developing Patriotic education programs are determined.
