The yrast bands of odd-mass ~(223-233)Th isotopes are studied by using the Projected Shell Model (PSM) approach. The yrast energies are calculated and compared with the experimental data. The structure of yrast bands is investigated from the band diagrams. It is observed from the band diagrams of ~(223-227)Th that the yrast band consists of composite states whereas as the band diagram of ~(229-233)Th indicate that the yrast bands of these isotopes are arising from single intrinsic state.
