Geometrically frustrated magnets have characteristic magnetic networks such as two-dimensional triangular, kagome, hyper-kagome, pyrochlore, and one-dimensional diamond chain lattices. The associated novel magnetic phenomena have attracted great interest. In particular, quantum liquid states, which are related to the mechanism of high-temperature superconductivity, are expected to occur in these systems.
