摘要

Isoxazole moiety is an important five-membered heteroaromatic ring system exhibiting various biological activities, applications in pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. Transition metal catalyzed C-H activation has gained much attention in organic synthesis for making C- C and C-heteroatom bonds. Recently, rhodium(III)-catalyzed C-H activation/oxidative annulation of benzoic acids and their derivatives with alkynes has played prominent role in construction of various heteroarenes.
