摘要

Various sulfated N-acetylgalactosamine bearing different aglycons have been reported to have inhibitory activity against not only Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV), which is considered a major public health concern in south, southeast, and east areas of Asia, but also N-acetylgalactosamine 4- sulfate 6-O-sulfotransferase (GalNAc4S-6ST: EC 2.8.2.33) which is the sulfotransferase responsible for biosynthesis of highly sulfated CS-E.
