This paper uses two methods of FDM and DPD to simulate the formation of white thrombus on orifice flow. FDM is used to simulate the concentration transport of blood species. And DPD is used to simulate platelet aggregation. It is found from the results that platelet aggregation in the recirculation area is higher than the aggregation downstream. It is concluded that the probability of thrombus formation in the recirculation area is higher than other places.
