摘要

Spherical CuO nanoparticles were successfully synthesized using sol-gel method. Various analytical techniques such as X-ray diffraction, UV-vis spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and energy-dispersive spectroscopy were utilized to characterize the prepared nanoparticles. Antibacterial activity of prepared nanoparticles was tested against different bacteria. The prepared nanoparticles showed an excellent antibacterial behaviour against these bacteria making them a promising antibacterial agent.
