The evaluation of the most outstanding university coach

The sports of contemporary college schools have increased gradually. A variety of university sports competition is also increasing, so the requirements of the university sports coaches are higher. This paper analyzes and discusses the standards of evaluation on basketball coach in contemporary colleges. First, this paper makes a list of the indexes of the coaches and marks the indexes of each coach by using the method of Delphi technique. Then we use the method of the principal component analysis to analyze indexes of coaches and athletes from each sport. Next, the paper will describe the principal component of each coach by using the Chernoff facial map and then we will select the top five coaches in this sport. This method can obtain four main components represent indicators: the performance of athletes, the ability of the command of the coach, training ability, and the analysis ability after game. Finally, we will analyze the advantages and the disadvantages of the model and then we will also give the improvement of the model.
