Empirical research on the relationship between radical innovation demand and innovation performance of high-tech enterprises

Radical innovation is the most powerful weapon to catch up with the advanced technology and realize the technology leapfrogging around the world in 21th centuries. In order to formulate corresponding measures to develop radical innovation and achieve success, high-tech enterprise must find out the factors with maximum correlation between radical innovation demand and innovation performance. Using the method of gray correlation, this paper analyzed the innovation data of 100 high-tech enterprises and found that the independence of innovation department, the ability to find market opportunity, the capacity to absorb new technology, and the incentive measures the enterprise presented are the most important innovation demand factors to obtain a good innovation performance. These research results can provide some useful help for company's development.
