Crystalline Na3V2(PO4)3 (NVP) with NASICON structure is one of the most promising cathode active materials for Na + ion batteries (SIBs) as well as for all solid state batteries (ASSBs). In this study, preparation of the crystalline NVP via glass-ceramic process using the precursor glass with the stoichiometric composition of NVP and its electrochemical properties have been examined. This process is beneficial not only for a facile synthesis of the crystalline NVP powder for conventional SIB cathode, but also for lowing the sintering temperature of the NVP for the fabrication of oxide-based ASSBs. With referring the previous study on the Li-counterpart, Li3V2(PO4)3,[1] glucose is employed as a reducing agent as well as a source for conductive carbon coating on crystalline NVP particles.
