Research on the low-carbon tourism region evaluation system based on ANP approach

As the rapid growth of modern tourism industry, its negative effects on ecological environment are taking increasing attention, which eagerly calls for the protection of ecology. With the development of global low-carbon economy, low-carbon tourism has become the direction to achieve sustainable development of tourism industry. building low-carbon tourism regions or scenic spots is in urgent demand. And it is necessary to construct a low-carbon tourism region evaluation system. This paper, adopting ANP (analytic network process) approach and based on interviews of 15 experts, summarizes the assessment indexes of low-carbon tourism regions in the aspects of low-carbon tourism region management, low-carbon buildings and infrastructure, low-carbon food and beverage, low-carbon tourist souvenirs and protection of tourism region's ecology. These indexes are compared in pairs according to experts' suggestions. By using the super decision software, the paper makes index weight value assessment and consistency test, calculates the weight of each index, and puts these indexes in order in accordance with the degree of significance. The paper constructs a complete low-carbon tourism region evaluation system, aiming at providing reference and guidance for the development, and administration of low-carbon tourism regions in the future.
