Quantification of Drug Response and Biomarker Parameters Within the Tumor Microenvironment Using Whole Slide Digital Image Analysis

摘要

Establishing a clear understanding of drug effect on morphological processes and biomarker expression within the tumour microenvironment improves knowledge of drug mechanistic activity and interpretation of study outcome, allowing for more confident decisions within pre-clinical and clinical Oncology and other R&D programs. The combination of histology and whole slide quantitative image analysis is a key approach to enable detailed evaluation of tumour tissue.
