摘要

A large scale river physical model study on lateral migration using straight channel with a mobile bed was carried out in the University of Technology Mara, Puncak Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. Measurement was made of flow velocity, bed profile and bankline at cross section along the channel. This measurement was used for preliminary study in order to determine the effects of mid-bar to lateral migration. And also to establish the hydraulic characteristic and the lateral migration rate influence by the mid bar. The experiment was designed with steady non-uniform flow, uniform grain size for bank and channel bed, rectangular channel and a constant slope. The bankline changes is related with the rate of lateral migration.
