With the expansion of power system, the system simulation, fault simulation will be one of the most important work to ensure the operation of Yunnan Power Grid safe and stable. It is also proposed newer and higher requirement to the hydroturbine prime mover and governor models in the Yunnan Power Grid which is based on hydroturbine. In this paper, taking the Luoma River Hydropower Second Stage #2 as an example,a new modeling method of hydroturbine prime mover and governor through parameters-measured is proposed.
