摘要

Generalized Jacobi elliptic one-monopole solution [6] have been obtained as regular solutions in the SU(2) Yang- Mills-Higgs model, with axial symmetry along the z- axis. It has also been shown that it is possible to decompose the non-abelian gauge potential into the restricted and unrestricted valence part [10]. Here we apply the decomposition to the generalized Jacobi elliptic one-monopole gauge potential and show that the unrestricted valence potential plays a role of removing the point singularities at the locations of the monopole. We consider the effect of decomposition upon energy and magnetic charges for the generalized Jacobi Elliptic one-monopole solution, for different values of Higgs potential.
