In this work,the influence of injection rate on carbon conversion,gas composition,calorific capacity of synthesis gas and the ratio of carbon to hydrogen were studied.The results show that the inject rate has a significant effect on coal gasification in molten blast furnace slag.The calorific capacity,content of CO and H2 in synthesis gas and carbon conversion are increased firstly and then decreased as injection rate is increased.The ratio of carbon to hydrogen increases with increasing injection rate.When the gasification agent injection rate is larger than 0.18,the ratios of carbon to hydrogen increase rapidly.When the injection rate is 0.14 m3/h,the content of CO is over 75%,the content of H2 is over 15%,the calorific capacity is over 11000 kJ/m3,the carbon conversion is about 0.95,and the quality of the synthesis gas is high.In this experiment,when the depth of slag pool was kept at 100 mm,the optimum gasification agent injection rate was found to be 0.14 m3/h.
