Microspheres (MC) are solid materials of micrometer size, with large specific surface area and widespread application in several fields, such as in adsorption, sensor, drug delivery systems and cosmetic, coating, ink, pesticide, biomedical and pharmaceutical products. The morphology of polymer microspheres are varied, such as solid, hollow, porous, onions-shaped, dumbbell-shaped and red blood cell-shaped.
