摘要

In most fish species, during the natural reproduction sperm is released to external environment that can contain a number of substances affecting spermatozoa functions. One of these substances is vinclozolin. Vinclozolin is a xenobiotic compound thatis known as a common fungicide, widely used in agriculture. It was already shown that vinclozolin can act as antiandrogenic compound impairing reproductive system in number of organisms. The water pollutions as well as other aspects significantly affected natural populations of sturgeon species. Therefore the investigation of possible deleterious effects of various xenobiotics on sturgeon physiology and gamete quality is highly required.
