Bioflocs consist of heterogeneous mixture of bacteria, microalgae, protozoans, particulate matters and other microorganisms, they are believed to be rich in nutrients and immune stimulants. The cell wall components of heterotrophic bacteria which arepredominant in bioflocs are known to mediate pro-PO (prophenoloxidase) system in shrimp. The present study is to understand of biofloc effect on immune related genes expression between three species of farmed shrimp; Litopenaeus vannamei, Fenneropenaeuschinensis and Marsupenaeus japonicus
