Based on elastic seismic wave equation, wave field numerical modeling with high-order staggered finitedifference method is studied for different complicated geographical mode. First, elastic seismic wave equation is derived to obtain one-order stressvelocity equation, then, the equation is discretized by finite-difference method. This method is used to simulate three-level strata sloping downward model, fault model and oil layer model. The results indicated that the method is suit for simulating nonhomogeneous media and complicated geographical mode, with high accuracy and efficiency.
