Continuous-time linear reset system is a hybrid system of continuous-time and discrete-time dynamics. The system basically behaves like a continuous-time system, however, impulsive behavior by reset action occurs depending a state-space condition. The feedback synthesis of the reset system is considered via LMI approach. The author shows a sufficient condition of L_2 stability according to the new Lyapunov type approach by Nesic et al. Then the stabilizability condition by continuous-time gain feedback and reset condition for given jump matrix is discussed via common quadratic Lyapunov function approach.
