An organization's culture, people, process and structure are the elements that allow it to function. Software organizations with a long tradition of mainframe development and testing that move rapidly to client-server development and testing can experience significant culture change in the transition. This presentation discusses the approach used to introduce a new testing group for a high visibility project and manage the resulting culture change. The culture change is viewed from two perspectives: the testing organization undergoing the transformation as well as the organization that must react to and work with the new group.
