Integration of English Teaching and Internet Distance Education Based on Computer-aided Teaching

The development of new computer technologies such as new media technology and the Internet has greatly promoted the reform of college English teaching. Today, Internet-based distance education has greatly optimized the environment for students to learn English, and has built a relatively open teaching platform through emerging technologies such as the Internet, breaking the unreasonable allocation of resources under the traditional teaching model and promoting the vigorous development of education which plays a vital role. How to learn new teaching ideas through the resources provided by the Internet, construct a brand-new English teaching environment, and improve students’ enthusiasm for learning have begun to become a new topic facing English teachers. However, there are also some problems and obstacles to the development of computer-aided instruction and the Internet; this article discusses this, analyzes some reasons, and puts forward the author’s views. This article introduces the relationship between each subsystem and their functions, and uses UML technology to model the college English teaching system.
