Palladium-doped zinc oxide nanostructures were synthesized by a microwave-assisted chemical method. The structural and morphological characteristics were studied from X-ray diffractogram and field emission scanning electron microscopy. The Pd-ZnO nanostructure film sensor was prepared by screen-printing technique. The sensors were tested for gas-sensing properties for NH_3, H_2S, CO_2, LPG and ethanol and compared with undoped sample. The Pd-doped zinc oxide showed highest response to LPG.
