As climate change has been serious, the frequency and intensity of drought have been increased in Korea. The occurance of drought in cities and provinces in spring last year caused a lot of suffering to Korean farmers. It has been suggested that Korean government needs to prepare for the drought condition on a constant alert The agricultural drought forecasting and warning system offers a new information of analysis of measures for defence agricultural drought in Korea. It analyzes the whole previousdrought status and shows it with the agriculture drought map. With this map, it gives the specific prediction against drought damages. Also, it analyzes the capability of defence for drought including facilities of data, non built in the past Moreover,it uses the scenario of rainfall prediction by comparing it with the average year, which is the reservoir water-containing rate and weter-level of change depending the certain percentage. The anticipatory defence for agricultural drought forecasting andwarning system using a real time water-level can give an opportunity to build the proper defence for agricultural drought not only holistically but also systematically. Plus, it would contribute to farmers for protecting their property and asset.
