摘要

This paper describes the development of a high speed driven tool for machine tools using magnetic transmission technology. In machine tools the revolution speed of the main spindle often reaches its limits for applications as e.g. grinding. Therefore driven tools are used to increase the revolution speeds. Since conventional gearboxes are limited in revolution speeds, magnetic transmissions are a promising technology to increase the revolution speeds and make new processing steps possible. This paper describes the simulation, design and measurements with a high speed driven tool using magnetic transmission technology.
