Analysis on the Problems and Perfecting Strategies of the Social Security System for Disabled People in China

In China's social security system, disabled people, as special social groups, are vulnerable groups. They should receive more attention from the society. Also, there should be a sound and reliable social security system to help and protect disabled people. In recent years, China's social security system is still improving. According to the latest data on the survey of disabled people, China's social security system for the disabled and the construction of basic facilities has achieved fruitful results in recent years. The living environment and living standards of disabled people are obviously enhanced. Based on the latest census data of the disabled population in China, this paper analyzes the current situation of the social security system for the disabled in China. Starting with the introduction of the definition of disabled people, this paper proposes the meaning of current situation and problems in the security process. Through the analysis of these issues, countermeasures to improve the social security for disabled population will be put forward. Besides, this paper will also explore how to use big data to build a more effective social security system, so as to promote the construction of the national social security system for the disabled, with a view to safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of disabled groups.
