Since the end of last century, the traditional art history research is turning to the multi discipline research angle, We call it the "new art history". One of the representatives of the "new art history" - Norman Bryson is a pioneer in the study of Western art semiotics. He look art as the symbol, look art history as internal symbol can refers to the history of conflict transformation, he found their position for the special art history which can not be explained by "History of continuous visual style".
