摘要

The most important economic and technical indicators of refineries depend on the quality of facilities layout development within designated area. This paper investigates the issues related to computer visualization and computation process repeatability at determinated optimization synthesis of refineries layout in accordance with one of the main criteria of layout quality, namely, cost criterion for the development and operation of communication links between facilities. Minimization of this criterion is carried out considering the fulfillment of requirements for the regulated minimum permissible clear distances between facilities. Research was conducted for a number of typical design cases. Computational experiments demonstrated that the use of deterministic optimization methods in tasks of this type provides a steady movement to minimum of objective function with the fulfillment of additional conditions. The computer visualization used in the article allows along with an automatic search for optimal facilities layouts to conduct layout design in an interactive mode.
