摘要

This work describes a statistical study of main biometrie measures for fetal head anomaly diagnostic. Generally, the physician use three principal biometric measurements in order to depict the fetal head formations named the biparietal-diameter “BPD”, the occipito-frontal-diameter “OFD” and the head-circumference “HC”. In this paper, we propose significant statistical measures of different subjects using ultrasound (US) imaging. Here, the correlation coefficients between the fetal physical statues and the resulting biometric measurements are reported. This allows us to determine the relationship of the pregnant characteristics compared to fetus status. Experimental results have been analyzed on 30 normal and 15 abnormal subjects included microcephaly, dolichocephaly and hydrocephalus anomalies leading to 95% of high correlation accuracy between BPD and gestational age (GA).
