DEVELOPMENT OF HEALTH INFORMATION REAL-TIME ACQUISITION SYSTEM OF DAIRY COWS

摘要

Health information real-time acquisition system of dairy cows was designed in this paper, and a cow health information database was established. The cow activity, rest time and surface temperature were detected through the terminal system installed on the body of the cow. The changes of body weight and daily milk yield from dairy cows were recorded through the sensor in milking hall. Those data can be transmitted to the cow health information center using wireless transmission, and can be used to draw cow health information curve at any time through the host computer. Experiments showed that the equipment is accurate and has the advantages of low power consumption, high reliability, low cost and high degree of automation features, especially suitable for large-scale automation dairy farming industry
