We have been working on different stages of a project and the last one was remote monitoring. Now part of a sensor application will be reviewed on a machine that can exert loads in an industrial scale. Some results obtained by this system are shown. The principle on which this research is based is the fact that any load applied to a soil or column will scroll causing deformation, with reference to a point on an unloaded item, which is the absolute reference. Optomechatronics loading lets us determine how different points deform; for example in a column a pair of optical sensors (transmitter and receiver) send signals to a DAQ NI and they are read in LABVIEW VI. They received data are written in a database for analysis. The complete design system is applied to measuring force and stress in industrial machinery.
