Study on the ground subsidence caused by pipe jacking

The surface deformation is a prominent problem in the pipe-jacking construction. It has been the focus of attention of geotechnical industry. This paper describes the mechanism of surface deformation caused by pipe jacking, and the brief factors affecting this discussion; in addition to the engineering example, the law of surface deformation is analyzed to study if the surface deformation can cause the pipe jacking for the future to provide some reference.
