Disclosed are a method for verifying a ground subsidence mechanism by sewer pipe cracks, and a system thereof. The method of verifying the ground subsidence mechanism according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the following steps: controlling a water supply mode which is discharged to the ground by the sewage pipe defect by using physical modeling of sewage pipe defects; measuring an air-void pressure by controlling the water supply mode; and verifying the ground subsidence mechanism based on the measured air-void pressure, wherein the step of verifying the ground subsidence mechanism verifies factors related to ground subsidence through the measurement of the air-void pressure, and can verify the ground subsidence mechanism based on the verified factors.
