This paper proposes a novel potential cycle measurement method based on 16-channel automatic circularly switching control principle of the resistance network. 1,680 valid potential data and 1,560 effective branch voltage data can be collected by this method through only 16 accessible node downleads on the grounding grid, which can maximize the use of limited accessible node downleads. A much more accurate result of grounding grid corrosion diagnosis can be obtained by using these plenty of valid voltage data.
