摘要

A facile synthesis route of cuprous oxide (Cu2O) was introduced. Properties of obtained thin film varied as functions of reaction temperature. Morphology and structure of Cu2O are analyzed by SEM, XRD and FTIR. The catalytic performances and reaction kinetics of Cu2O catalyst for the degradation of Rhodamine B (RhB) are investigated. The results show pure Cu2O electrocatalyst with triangular morphology is obtained and demonstrates good potential on degradation of RhB. The degree of RhB degradation is improved significantly in the presence of 0.1 M NaCl. The degradation rate constant decreases as the initial RhB concentration increases and the degradation reaction can be represented by pseudo-first-order kinetics model. These synthesized Cu2O thin films would be highly attractive for practical applications in water pollutant removal and environmental remediation.
