摘要

The article deals with the utilization of two various types of mathematical methods ??? the function's local extremes and the Wavelet transform in nondestructive evaluation of conductive materials. The eddy current inspection is used for the measurements and the MATLAB software is used for processing of the gained signals. The selected geometry parameters of the inspected cracks are analyzed. The gained results are presented and discussed in the paper.
