Usage of network-centric approach to distributed management of complex systems

The paper describes the problem of advancing the efficiency of oilfield management by combining real-time information control systems for different purposes into a single network. To do that authors have developed a novel technology in order to organize such systems, based on the principles of self-organization and adaptive interaction. This technology differs from the existing scheme currently in use, which is characterized by centralization of control functions and data processing, and provides the transition to a network architecture, which can change dynamically. The authors have developed the proposed technology, using a multiagent approach, which allows to build systems, based on a wide variety of geographically distributed computational nodes of different performance, having connection with each other.
