摘要

EPR-spectrum of the irradiated alumina crystal features an isotropic radiation-induced broad signal with resonance absorption line I at 3500 G and line II at 3240 G. The values of g± -factors of absorption lines I and II for the irradiated sample are 2.008 and 2.11 respectively. Step annealing EPR shows decomposition of absorption line I at 820 K. Absorption line II can be associated with complex defect created by alumina vacancy with trapped hole and F~+ center which disappears completely after annealing at 1423 K.
