1 We show basic concepts for pellets, torrefaction and torrefied pellets. 2 We develop our own LCI model, where we estimate a total GWP and see that the major contribution comes from Electricity Generation and Torrefaction Process. 3 According to the sensitivity analysis, the three most important parameters which could affect the torrefaction process are: initial energy content, temperature of torrefaction and energy yield.
