Secondary organic aerosol (SOA) has been an issue of enormous interest in recent years because of the possible impacts of SOA on climate, Satheesh and Moorthy (2005), visibility, Cheng et al. (2011) and health, Franklin et al. (2006). Its forming process has become key problem in atmospheric sciences. As the primary inorganic gas pollutants, SO2 and NH3 have effect on SOA formation, Lin et al. (2013). In the previous studies, different effects of NH3 on particle formation were observed in the two systems as shown in Figure 1. NH3 contributed to PM formation only in toluene system, indicating the effect of NH3 on secondary aerosol (SA) format ion is VOC-dependent. SO2 both contributed to PM formation in two systems.
