摘要

Mesophase is the phase of the liquid-crystal composed of planar aromatic macromoleeule.It is the ideal precursor to prepare carbon materials.Carbonaceous Mesophase was mainly prepared from coal-tar pitch.The preparation process is complex.Zhi-hong Qin developed a new technology of coal all component separation to separate the coal into four components by extraction and stripping.The separation process is simple, completely in ambient conditions, which is a breakthrough of traditional coal tar preparation techniques.
