Device for Location Assistance and Identification of Products in a Closed Enviroment

One of the problems faced by the visually impaired is the location of objects in a unknown environments. Find a product without assistance is almost impossible for a person with a low vision. Therefore in this research was developed a system to localization and identification using a smartphone with Android operating system. The program was made using the MIT App Inventor, Google voice identifier system and bar code reader. The program was tested in a closed environment that simulates aisles and shelves of a supermarket and allowed to find the desired product.
