This paper presents an approach to an integrated interfacing system for equipment used in video laparoscopy surgeries. The core idea is to provide surgeons with an interface to control and monitor all equipment used in laparoscopy procedures at same time without using hands. The developed system is based in voice commands and visual interface. The focus of this work is to develop a reliable Voice Recognition platform optimized for minimally invasive surgeries environments. Also, a visual interface and a communication architecture to control the system is developed. Afterwards, this system is integrated to a real set of equipment for laparoscopy. Voice recognition reaches up to 89% of correctness in structured environments.
