Air Quality Assessment through a Multi Criteria Decision Method

摘要

Starting from the high importance of problems regarding environmental quality and their impact on human life,we present in this paper some aspects about how we can use multi-criteria decision methods for solving environmental management problems.This paper focuses on applyjn? one of these methods,namely TOPSIS method,for air quality assessment in a region,in order to rank different periods of time as regarding the concurrent action of the main pollutants that exist Analyzing air quality evolution in a region can help establishing if the decisions regarding this aspect are in a favorable trend or some changes need to be made.
